Giraffe head in sunset

This is the photo of giraffe head in a sunset. In the picture, you can see a male of Giraffa c. camelopardalis that lives in Uganda.

Giraffes have from two to four horns (ossicone) on their heads. Males use these horns like a ram in fights to get a female.

How do I find out male from female? A female giraffe's horns will be completely covered with hair but male giraffe's tops of horns are almost bald.

This tallest animal in the world grows up to 5,5 meters and weighs up to 900 kg. Giraffes are ruminants and live in herds.
